Queens’ Luncheon

Dear Festival & Fair Queens,

The London Strawberry Festival and Queen Danielle Stockham cordially invite you to attend our festival, queens’ luncheon, and parade on Saturday, June 21, 2008. All royalty members are invited. Your queen is our guest. Jr. Miss Lacy Purdum, Young Miss Klarissa Brown, Prince Malachi Sibole, Little Miss Olivia Jackson, Little Mr. Dustin Burgoon, Miss Shortcake Abby Jones & Mr. Shortcake William Smith extend this invitation to your younger courts. Chaperons and royalty members other than your queen must pay $12 per person for the luncheon.

The luncheon will be held from 1:30-3:30 PM at the Della Selsor Building on the Madison County Fairgrounds (217 Elm Street, London OH 43140). Registration will begin at 12:30. Unfortunately, no one will be available to open the Della before 12:30. If you wish to arrive earlier, please, feel free to join us at the festival grounds for the baby contest or COBRA Car Show. You may also join us at the Madison Co. Airport for free plane rides (Visit www.EAA9.org for details). There are ample changing facilities available. All personal belongings must be taken with you, as we will not be able to return to the Della Selsor. Floats may go ahead to the line up.

Parade line up will be 4PM on Park Ave. by Cowling Park and parade begins at 5PM. It will end past the main stage where the royalty will disembark and return for the queens’ speeches/festival introductions. At this time, the 2008 queen will be crowned. Parking will be available behind the London Middle School.

Danielle is looking forward to visiting with everyone she has traveled with during the past year. We hope you can attend.

1:15 Group Photo-photos will be available for a minimal cost during the luncheon & after the parade at the information booth.

1:30-3:30 Luncheon

4:00-5:00 Line up

5:00 Parade followed by speeches & queen crowning

8:15 Evening entertainment

Snaps Photo will be taking group photos that will be available for purchase during the luncheon & at the info booth during introductions of visiting queens.
