London Strawberry Festival

Parade Invitation

The London Strawberry Festival would like to invite all youth, school and civic groups to participate in our parade, June 18, 2008. This parade will welcome pets, costumed pets, decorated bikes & children's wagons, walkers and floats of all kinds among others. For safety reasons we ask that if you choose to give candy or other items, that it be handed out rather than thrown from a vehicle. Recognition will be awarded for the best decorated unit following a Strawberry theme; best decorated bike, wagon, & pet. Awards will be presented on the main stage following the parade.

No prior registration is required; however, an announcer form will be available during line up. Line up & judging will begin at 5PM on Park Ave. by Cowling Park. The parade will begin at 6 PM.

You are also welcome to participate in the Queen's Parade on Saturday, June 21 at 5PM. This parade will feature visiting queens from around the state. Royalty of any age from all pageants and events are welcome to participate. Groups are welcome; however, the only judging will be for the Queen's floats. Lineup will be on Park Ave. at 4PM. Introduction of visiting queens and crowning of the 2008 Queen will follow this parade.

Groups may participate in either or both parades.
