Mandatory Contestants’ Meeting & Photos
Miss Shortcake, Little, Young, Jr. & Queen Contestants are required to attend a contestants meeting with their parents. This will be the last time to register as contestant photos will be taken. The meeting will be June 19th, 2017 at the EMA Building. Registrations will be accepted 6:30-7:00 PM for Miss Shortcake, Little Miss, Young Miss, Jr. Miss & Miss. Photos will be taken at 7:00 PM followed by the modeling/runway clinic & mandatory contestant meeting.
All contestants age 4-18 must attend the meeting with a parent/legal guardian. Those who cannot attend or leave prior to the meeting conclusion/sign in will be disqualified. There are no exceptions.
Miss Shortcake Stage Competition
Miss Shortcake will participate in the stage presentation at the pageant beginning at 6:20 P.M. on Thursday, June 22, 2017. Contestants will walk “runway” and answer 3 questions. Shortcake contestants can walk across the stage with or without an escort.

We will move as quickly as possible through the contests.
The Shortcake contestants must arrive & be checked in by 6:10 PM and remain in the stage area.
Any contestant wishing a copy of her own scores may bring a self-addressed, stamped envelope & 50¢ for copies to the check in or enclose it with your registration.
Winner & parent/legal guardian are REQUIRED to attend a brief meeting at the end of crowning and mandatory meeting, accompanied by a parent/legal guardian, the week following crowning, Monday, June 26, 2017.
Application & entry fee of $25.00 must be received no later than 7:00 PM on June 19th, 2017. All applications received after June 19, 2017 will be returned to sender. Make money order or certified check to London Strawberry Festival Royalty Program. No cash or personal/business checks. All contestants receive a certificate of participation.
Do NOT submit applications to the EMA office as they are NOT responsible for accepting applications. Applications are only accepted via mail or at the contestant sign-up meeting.
Dress Code: Long or Short Formal- Some glitter is ok but *NO SUPER/ULTRA GLITZ OR COSTUMES*
No late or incomplete registrations accepted.
Contestants' group photos for the newspaper will be taken at the EMA Building on June 19 at 7:00 PM. Contestant must be in attendance with a parent/legal guardian. No registrations will be accepted after photos. If you want a copy of your scores, bring a SASE & 50¢ for copies to the check in or enclose it with your registration.
Contestants are invited to participate in the parade. Vehicle is the responsibility of the contestant. A sign is required for each side of the vehicle. The parade is June 24, 2017 at 5 PM. Lineup is at 4 PM on Park Ave. No judging is done during the parade.
