Pre-festival activities this year included the Spring Car show held in the parking lot of the London Wal-Mart and the Bike Trails Bike Tour.
One week prior to the festival, the GOBA bike Tour came through London and spent the night at the fair grounds. The royalty provided a shortcake tent at the fairgrounds for the GOBA participants.
We had huge crowds for Saturday thanks to perfect weather. The London Baptist Church hosted the 5k for the royalty program and had a nice turn out. Unfortunately it rained on Thursday forcing the pageant to be held in the Revive Baptist Church at the last minute. Friday was overcast but warm and allowed a large crowd on Friday evening. The Friday car show was a success. We had a kids area that included bounce houses, kiddie tractor pull and a prince/princess party. We continued to have our rides and carnival games located on 2nd Street & in the parking lot.
