Bicycle, Child's Vehicle & Wagon Decorating Contest
There will be a bicycle, child's motorized or pedal vehicle & wagon decorating contest during the Saturday evening parade with winners. Bikes, vehicles and wagons may be decorated using any theme. Get Creative!!!
Pet Contest
There will be a pet contest during the Saturday evening parade with winners. Pets are NOT required to be dressed up. All pets must be in a cage or on a leash. Pets may be pulled in a wagon or walk on a leash. Clean up after pets is required & the immediate responsibility of the owner.
Theme Unit Contest
There will be a Strawberry Theme contest during the Saturday evening parade with winners. This contest includes decorated floats, hay wagons, trailers, and walking units.
Best 4-H Themed Unit
This will be the best unit from 4-H. The award is sponsored by Canaan Pathfinders 4-H.
Best Parade Band
We would love to have bands volunteer to participate in our parade!
Contests will be judged during the parade. The winners will be announced at the stage after the parade.
Winners will receive ribbons & are asked to report to the information booth for photos.
